36 hours of cooler, fall weather before tropical moisture arrives

Jacksonville, FL — Mild temperatures and low humidity will be around for about 36 hours or so, before the next big weather change impacts your weekend.

Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says afternoon temperatures today will be in the mid and upper 70’s with thin high clouds.

Low temperatures tonight will fall into the 50’s tonight, and parts of western Duval and Nassau County could see temperatures fall into the upper 40’s.

But all things change by Friday night and into Saturday as a tropical disturbance arrives from the Gulf of Mexico.  It’s unclear at this time how this system will behave and intensify, so keep listening to WOKV for updates from the First Alert Weather Team.
