Jacksonville, FL — Nearly 6 months after a sleepover on the Westside took a tragic turn, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is announcing the arrest of a 12-year-old boy.

Tyron Calhoun is now charged with manslaughter, after police say he shot 12-year-old Ra’Mya Eunice with a gun he found underneath the home on Willow Branch Avenue. Calhoun was 11-years-old at the time.

Eunice died a week later at the hospital and her death was ruled a homicide by the medical examiner.

JSO says Calhoun was arrested at his home today, without incident.
