A life sentence for a 53-year-old sex offender who was allowed to sleep in the same room as a nine-year-old girl. Robert Young admitted to molesting the child for about eight months, between August 2010 and March 2011.
Young is one of five individuals prosecuted in the case. Christopher Perry was convicted and sentenced to six life sentences on five counts of Sexual Battery, one count of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation, one count of Child Neglect, and one count of Conspiracy to Commit Sexual Battery. Perry’s wife, Mary Perry, was sentenced to 30 years in prison on charges of Child Neglect and Conspiracy to Commit Sexual Battery. Patricia Woloszynowski pleaded guilty to a charge of Child Neglect and was sentenced to 14 years in prison. Michael Halveland pleaded guilty to Lewd or Lascivious Molestation. Halveland faces up to life in prison and will be sentenced later this month.
