Clay County Sheriff’s Office: Missing child found safe

UPDATE: Just about 15 minutes after reaching out to the public for help, CCSO says they located this child safe.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help tracking down a missing 8-year-old.

CCSO says Desiyas Dawson was last seen leaving Coppergate Elementary School just before 3PM. He’s described as a black male with brown eyes and black hair and was last seen wearing a blue “And 1” shirt, orange/gray jacket, black shorts, black shoes, and an Avengers backpack.

Desiyas is considered to be in danger because of his age and the time. JSO is assisting in the investigation.
