Flight training taking place at Camp Blanding

Jacksonville, FL. — Neighbors living near the Camp Blanding area may hear a little extra noise starting Wednesday night and through Thursday morning.

The Camp Blanding Joining Training Center will have increased noise on the post near Starke and Keystone Heights, as the Florida Army National Guard will be conducting low-level flight training with helicopters.

"As usual, The Florida National Guard continues to make every effort to minimize noise but there are times such as this when noise may seem louder than normal to the public."
