Former Nassau school resource officer sentenced for sexual battery on 15-year-old

A man charged with protecting your children will now spend 20 years in prison for sexually battering one.

47-year-old Alan Manchester pled guilty last month to two counts of sexual battery involving a minor.  Investigators found that, while working as a school resource officer with the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, Manchester has a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old.  The victim got pregnant by Manchester twice, once at 15 and once at 17.

Manchester will also get 10 years of sex offender probation after he is released.
