Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon was in a single-car accident early Saturday monring on Interstate 295 southbound at Pulaski Road.
According to reports one of the tires on his 2009 GMC Denali blew out.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Blackmon lost control of his Denali and left the road, with the front of his car colliding with the guardrail.
Blackmon did not have any drugs or alcohol in his system and was wearing a seatbelt according to the FHP.
The FHP cited Blackmon for careless driving, however those charges were dropped after FHP supervisory personnel reviewed the investigation.
Deputies say Blackmon was not hurt in the accident.
