Main Street Bridge closes for music video

The Main Street Bridge will be lit with more than just blue lights this evening.

Rapper Rick Ross is filming a music video on the bridge Friday night, which means it will be closed to traffic from 8 PM to 5:30 AM.  Ross will also film for the video for “Box Chevy” at the Florida Theater.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office will be on-scene conducting hold-and-release traffic patterns through the closure.

Other bridges remain open for your drive in and out of downtown, but you can expect possible delays if you are in the area of the Main Street Bridge.
