Possible abduction attempt in Arlington

A possible abduction attempt at a bus stop in Arlington is being invetigated by the  Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
It occurred around 8am Tuesday, but the JSO delayed notifying the public until around 10pm on Tuesday, posting the info on it's Facebook page. 
Police began investigating a reported abduction attempt that occurred at a bus stop located at Merrill Rd. and Hartsfield Rd., the complainant stated that her child complained about being approached by a white male in a red pickup truck.
The child described the suspicious male as wearing a blue t-shirt, white pants, and having a gray mustache.
An immediate search of the area was conducted including the use of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Air Unit but revealed nobody fitting that description.
The JSO is working to verify the information and conducting follow-up on all potential leads including information from the public on the identity of this subject.
