A St. Johns County man will spend the rest of his life in prison after receiving two life terms for sexually abusing a child.
41-year-old Robert Lee Skipper has been found guilty of sexual battery on a person less than twelve years of age and lewd or lascivious battery sex with a person under twelve.
An assistant state attorney called the girl brave for reporting the crime to her stepmother. The attorney says Skipper threatened to kill the child and her mother if she told anyone.
