Jacksonville, FL. — Jacksonville Police are working to identify the man who stole a car, led a high-speed car chase, and then crashed on I-295.
Terrance Marshall says his son was pumping gas at the BP on Normandy Boulevard when a stranger jumped in the car and took off.

Marshall and his son were able to track the car down using the son’s cell phone inside and that’s when they started to follow the suspect for nearly 20 minutes down on I-295. During the chase, the suspect hit a truck, causing him to flip over several times before coming to a complete resting point upside down in a ditch.
Witnesses went to see if the man was okay, but they go to the car the suspect was not inside.
Right now, police are hoping to get a clue about who this man is by reviewing security footage at the BP gas station.
