UPDATE: JSO says missing girl has been found safe, search continues for girl’s father

Jacksonville, FL — UPDATE: The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says Aroyal Bennet has been found safe, after being left with a family member. Police are still searching for Antonio Bennett, so if you see him, you're urged to call 911.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is seeking help finding a missing 7-month-old child, Aroyal Bennett, who is believed to be with her father, Antonio Bennett.

JSO says the pair may be in a white 2006 Chevy Impala with Florida Tag BYT T53.

Bennett is wanted for crimes unrelated to the missing child.  Jail records show multiple arrests dating back to 2007 and most recently in March of 2017. Many were related to drug offenses.

Officers were called Tuesday about the child missing from Broward Road.  The girl’s mother reported that she and her father had become involved in an altercation that led him to leave with Aroyal.

JSO says Antonio Bennett has not returned with the girl, and police are working to find out the safety of both.

Aroyal was last seen wearing a red, white and blue skirt and a blue top with red, white and blue ruffled collar.

If you see Aroyal Bennett or Antonio Bennett, you are asked to call JSO at (904) 630-0500.
