Jacksonville, FL — A woman sitting on the couch in the living room of her home in a neighborhood near Mayo Clinic was shaken up but otherwise OK after a car sliced through her home.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue says the car entered through the back of the home and came to rest in the front yard. Debris was littered all over, and the fireplace was thrown to the front yard.
A second person inside a bedroom in the home was unhurt. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital. It is unclear what his condition may have been at the time of Monday night’s crash.
