Jacksonville — The new IKEA store in Jacksonville is set to open up Wednesday. People have been camping out in front of the store for a few days, and most I spoke with say its because of the free giveaways for the first people in line. One Jacksonville man says it was the free couch and his love for IKEA that brought him out camping in front of the store. Another Jacksonville Woman says she came out because of the excitement.
“It was a bonus for the sofa, but ya know, just the excitement of everything.” She says.

Most people camping out before the grand opening have brought tents with air mattresses or made forts out of what they have.
“I like the little fort that I built its very cost efficient.” Says one IKEA fan.

Two IKEA fans say they are now friends after camping next to each other.
“I feel like I just found my best friend, my best friends, one brought me coffee another got some donuts, we’ve been chit-chatting, its been fun.” One IKEA fan says.
The store is set to open Wenesday and a spokesperson tells they are expecting a large crowd for the grand opening.
