Jacksonville, FL. — Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol said charges are pending after a man was hit and killed while trying to cross the street in Clay County.
It happened a little before 10 p.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Blanding and Belmont Boulevard.
The crash report says the man who has yet to be identified was not in a crosswalk as he tried to cross the northbound lanes of Blanding Boulevard in his wheelchair.
