Jacksonville, FL — It's a tragic update in the disappearance of a Keystone Heights man.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office says the Jacksonville Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that a body found in Spring Lake, just after Christmas Day, is that of Sean Leverette.

Leverette disappeared just before Christmas, after spending time with friends near the lake.
The sheriff's office says no foul play is suspected in his death, based on preliminary findings.
Leverette was a Navy veteran and aspiring law enforcement officer.
As you may recall, Sean had been spending time with friends around the lake just before the Christmas holiday. Sean was left to swim and this was the last time he was seen.
