St. Johns County deputies working to identify person of interest in 'professional' smash-and-grab burglary

Jacksonville, FL — We told you last month that at least 8 men were spotted breaking into several businesses on County Road 210, in what was described as a 'professional' smash-and-grab burglary.

Now, the St. Johns County Sheriff's office could be closer to catching the men responsible.

Deputies are turning to the public for help identifying a person of interest who was spotted in Rivertown Fine Wine & Spirits the night before the burglary. They believe he may also be the first male who entered the store during the burglary, as they appeared to be wearing the same acid-washed jeans.

Rivertown Fine Wine & Spirits says the group stole numerous bottles of liquor and cash.

The Verizon store in the same shopping center also reported some stolen items, including a cell phone and two I-Pads.
