Jacksonville, FL — March Madness is coming back to the First Coast!
Jacksonville has been selected to serve as a host city for Rounds 1 and 2 of the 2019 NCAA Basketball Championship.
Those games are scheduled for March 21, 2019, and March 23, 2019, and will be played at the Veterans Memorial Arena.
The last time Jacksonville played host to the championship, more than 38,000 people were in attendance, according to the Jacksonville Sports Council.
First two rounds of the NCAA Basketball tournament drew attendance of 38,241 to Jacksonville in 2015. Est. economic impact: $10.6 million!

Jacksonville also served as a host in 2006 and 2010.
But it's not just basketball heading our way, Jacksonville has also been selected to host DI Men's & Women's Track & Field Championship Prelims in 2019 and 2021.
