An armed and dangerous robbery suspect is now behind bars.
We first told you Thursday that a man walked in to a St. Johns County CVS, passed a note to the clerk demanding drugs, and ran off. The note he handed over said he was a "nice" guy.
He threatened to use a gun, although no weapon was shown at the time. The employees complied, giving the man two bags full of controlled substances.
Now, the Sheriff’s Office says the suspect has been identified as Nicholas Dungey. He was detained in Jacksonville with the help of the US Marshals and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. SJSO says their investigation was driven by your tips.
Dungey is being booked for armed robbery. He will be extradited to St. Johns at a later time.
