Jacksonville, FL — UPDATE: Just before 12:30PM, FDLE said the missing 12-year-old has been found safe. Soon after, JSO confirmed the girl had been recovered and the suspect is in custody.

The 12-year-old Jacksonville girl who is missing and endangered left with a man she claims to be in love with.
Magali Ordonez-Lucas was reported missing around 8:30pm Monday. She was last seen by her father at 3am Monday as he left for work, according to a JSO incident report.
Angel Ordonez-Escalante says he told his daughter, “I love you, take care of the baby and your mother”.
Around 10am Monday, Escalante’s his wife called to report that Magali was not home and left with Omar Castillo-Lopez. The family lives at La Esperanza Apartments in Sans Souci. Escalante told his wife to calm down, and he believed that Magali would be in the apartment complex playing with friends. Magali does not attend school, according to police.
Escalante says he received a phone call around 11:30am from Castillo-Lopez, who told him that he was in love with his daughter and they were leaving together.
The girl’s father says he did not take the comments seriously. He returned home around 6:30pm to find his daughter was missing. He contacted a co-worker, who arrived at his home around 8:30pm with his daughter to translate for the victim.
Police were contacted, and a Florida Missing Child Alert was issued around 1:30am Tuesday.
The JSO incident report states that the missing girl is in love with the subject, Castillo-Lopez.
Magali is listed as a 5’6’’ and 113 lbs. JSO says it’s unknown is Magali and the suspect were in a vehicle or walking.
