Suspect description released in brutal murder of elderly Jacksonville man

Two months after the brutal murder of an elderly Jacksonville man, police are getting a picture of the suspect.

We told you in June that 83-year-old Robert James Levey was found dead inside his home on Mimosa Drive, near Emerson and Philips. The home had been burned.
Police tell us they're looking for a white guy in his late teens to early 20's, 5'6''to 5'7'' and 120 lbs. He is described as having shoulder length brown hair, and was wearing shorts, a green T-shirt, and carrying a black and white backpack.

The person was seen near the victim's home a little before 11:00 p.m. Police say he may have sustained some injuries and left the area on foot.

First Coast Crime Stoppers has announced an increased reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.

The son of Mr. Levey has been able to raise these additional funds to put towards the reward to help solve his father's murder.
