Jacksonville, FL — A man from the Tampa area died in a two-car crash on I-295 near New Kings Road. 33-year-old Antuan Shaw died in the crash around 1:15 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Shaw was driving north on I-295 approaching New Kings Road when his car ran off the road and hit the inside and outside barriers, according to the initial crash report.
After coming to rest, Shaw’s car was hit by another car that was unable to avoid a collision, according to FHP. The other driver, 32-year-old Antonio Christopher Jacksonville, was taken to UF Health Jacksonville with serious injuries.

Ketchem was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver remained on scene and, according to FHP, did not see the man walking in the road as the area was described as being dark.
