Two loaded guns were found in the home where St. Johns County deputies shot and killed a man late Tuesday.
We've now learned those guns were found in a drawer under the bed where 66-year-old Abbott Bennett was reaching.
We kept you updated throughout the day Wednesday on the shooting at a home on Colee Cove Road.
Deputies were called to the home Tuesday night on a domestic violence call against Bennett and weren't able to successfully tase him, drawing two deputies to open fire.
Police tell us a .38 Special and a 9mm/.380 was located in a drawer under the bed.
An autospy shows the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death is listed as homicide.
