WATCH: Little girl steals cell phones with family

Videos attached to the left of this story shows a little girl stealing multiple cell phones from the Discount Wireless shop at the St. Augustine Outlets.

The owner tells our partner Action news the girl is visibly being coached in the surveillance footage by her pregnant mother and grandmother.

“This is three generations,” says Charlie Touch.  “When is it going to stop?”

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office says thousands of dollars in cell phones and accessories were snatched by the family of thieves, most of them by the little girl.  The second video shows another family member – an older male – swiping something from behind the counter.

“She was no more than five or six years old,” says Touch.  “This is training your kid to be a criminal.”

Touch says after he watched the footage, he noticed phones missing from his drawers.

He hopes his security footage helps police track down the family to get his property back, but his real concern is the little girl.  He believes she hasn’t been taught the difference between right and wrong.

“Retrieving the items stolen from my store is not a big deal, you can write it off,” Touch says.  “But the bad part is these folks who’ve really done damage to their family.”
