Old-school mentalist and frequent Johnny Carson guest The Amazing Kreskin has passed away at the age of 89.

Kreskin’s manager Ryan Galway confirmed to multiple media outlets that the entertainment icon passed away in his New Jersey home. Galway also posted a tribute to X saying “it was an honor to have worked with Kreskin for the past 6 years. I will never forget the stories and experiences. RIP Sir, even now I know you know what I am thinking.”

Kreskin wasn’t your average “mentalist”, often surprising people when he explained his true talents as an entertainer.

I am not a psychic, an occultist or fortune teller. I am not a mind reader, medium or hypnotist. There is nothing supernatural about anything that I do. I am a scientist, a researcher in the field of suggestion and ‘extrasensory’ perceptions. I perform what I discover.

The Amazing Kreskin had his own TV show “The Amazing World of Kreskin”. He also inspired the movie “The Great Buck Howard” starring John Malkovich and Colin Hanks. He performed hundreds of live shows a year continuing to amaze people late into his life.
