It could be the end of the line for the Ortega Hills snack bandits.
2 underage kids are scheduled to face the judge Monday after they were caught on camera recently stealing from a back porch in the area.
Michelle Hemingway - the mom for one of the suspects - admits her 12-year-old son was on that video but doesn't think he's involved in the recent break-ins at the Ortega Hills Preschool on Greenway Drive North and 2 homes nearby.
"I have searched my home," Hemingway added. "There has been no sign of anything stolen in my house. If there was, I would be the first one to call the cops on him."
Hemingway says she's also been keeping a close eye on her son, especially after she was told about the snack bandits.
"Unless they're going on crime sprees of 30 minutes, I don't know," Hemingway stated. "I don't see that happening."
Joel Underwood says his back porch security camera caught those boys peering into windows and pointing at stuff.
"I had children," Underwood noted. "If there were in trouble in any kind of manner... I found a way to have them supervised."
Officers haven't tied those boys yet to the other break-ins and no other arrests have been made.
The owner of the preschool says kids have broken in at least 3 times in the past month, leaving shattered glass in the play area each time as well as crumbs and empty juice boxes on the floor.
Money, a camera and a watch have also gone missing from the preschool.
Officials think the kids are getting into the preschool by climbing up to the roof, going through a crawl space and knocking out the windows.
One of the neighbors claims the kids broke into his home, leaving footprints behind. Another thinks those kids spray-painted the front of her house.
