Angela Corey kicks off re-election bid

State Attorney Angela Corey is looking for another term in office, she held a campaign kick-off Wednesday night at the police FOP lodge.

"I am where I am today mainly because of Angela Corey," said attorney general Pam Bondi

Bondi said Corey's leadership and their frienship led her to where she is today.  Corey says she's not backing down from any challenges.

"Everybody works together as a team to help law enforcement get these criminals off the street, and that's what we're going to keep doing.  And I'll take any shot anybody sends at me about me being too tough and too hard on criminals."

She gave special thanks to all the employees of the state attorney's office for their hard work as well.
