Thanks to a quiet donor in the Jacksonville community, everyone can now enjoy even more of Bogey Creek Preserve.
An anonymous donor gave nonprofit organization North Florida Land Trust $100,000 to acquire 12 acres of land to expand the Bogey Creek Preserve.
Bogey Creek Preserve is part of Jax Parks’ “Seven Creeks Recreation Area,” a newly upgraded and now interconnected group of preservations.
People can do all sorts of activities there, like hiking, biking, kayaking and fishing.
"It was incredible to get such a gift I mean it makes it possible to do so much, it’s wonderful," NFLT President Jim McCarthy tells us. https://t.co/V9ZvQNpJCq
