JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Blue Angels will return to Naval Air Station Jacksonville this week, but their practice sessions will not be open to the public.
NAS JAX announced in January that the air show was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. According to a spokesperson from NAS JAX, an estimated 300,000 people normally attend the two-day air show. However that number is too risky to keep people safe from COVID, even with social distancing.

The Blue Angels Air Show is expected to return to Jacksonville in October of 2022.
