Political/Government experience: Worked on Ed Austin's Mayoral campaign. Worked as an intern for the Downtown Development Authority where I was charged with a signage plan to help direct to guide citizens to points of interest in the city of Jacksonville. This had been in the works for two years and I started from scratch and completed it in half a semester.

Why did you decide to run for office: I am raising my family in Jacksonville and want them to have the same things I had growing up. I want to see my children stay in this city along with my grandchildren. Jacksonville is poised for greatness and want to make sure Jacksonville achieves this. Keeping our waterways and oceans clean, building a strong relationship with the School Board to better our schools and make them a safe place, retaining and building our first responders to keep pace with Jacksonville's growth making it a safer place, fixing our infrastructure in the areas where it is weak and making sure it keeps ahead of Jacksonville's growth, working with existing businesses and bringing in new business buy incentivizing and holding them accountable to these incentives and also making them liable for the incentives they receive if they are not accountable. All of this leads to a vibrant city with great neighborhoods and great jobs.

What is the biggest problem facing Jacksonville as a city overall, and how specifically would seek to address that: The biggest problem facing Jacksonville is education this is something the council does not have a lot of power over directly but can indirectly build a strong relationship with the Board of Education. What I can have an influence on is infrastructure coupled with safety. The aging infrastructure needs to be repaired and it needs to stay ahead of can be done with fixing the aging infrastructure and Jacksonville's this can be done by working with municipal, state and federal government to get funding along with the private sector. It is important we work with our first responders to retain them and make sure they are adequately equipped and staffed to handle Jacksonville's growth. This also can be done by working with municipal, state and federal government to get funding along with the private sector.

What makes your constituents unique, and how would that influence your time in office: My constituents are vastly unique and have all different concerns regarding their wellbeing since an at large seat is countywide.

What would be your main budget priority for the upcoming fiscal year: Infrastructure and safety.

How do you define what you hope Jacksonville will be ten years from now: A better place that my children and possibly grandchildren are thriving along with the citizens of Jacksonville.
