City of Jacksonville is fighting hunger with drive through food distributors

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — From Wednesday to Friday, the City of Jacksonville is teaming up with local charities to set up drive through food distributors. Families can head to certain locations on certain days.

December 15th

-1470 W. 13th St. with Catholic Charities Jacksonville at 9:30 A.M

-5461 Commonwealth Ave. with Feeding Northeast Florida at 10 A.M.

December 16th

- 2000 Lane Ave. with Feeding Northeast Florida at 10 A.M.

December 17th

- 1470 W. 13th St. with Catholic Charities Jacksonville at 9:30 A.M.

Free, drive through food distributions this week:

Feeding Northeast Florida is the largest food bank that serves the eight counties that make up Northeast Florida.

Catholic Charities Jacksonville is an organization that believes in assisting those in need by “meeting basic human needs, restoring dignity and assisting toward self-sufficiency.”
