‘Cool’ June temps a welcome change

‘Cool’ June temps a welcome change

Jacksonville, FL — It’s cool, by June standards, with morning low temperatures in the 60’s and comfortable humidity.

Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says we'll only be in the low 80's this afternoon, well below average.

“And with low humidity it’ll really be very comfortable. Now I have been eyeing an upper level low pressure area just to the north of Jacksonville that could trigger a few strong storms in especially southeast Georgia today, but it looks like it’ll stay north of northeastern Florida. That will be a little bit close”, Buresh said.

The First Alert Weather Team is tracking near-record lows for tonight and only slowly hotter temps to end the week.
