Cooler, drier air returns after record-shattering hot Halloween

Jacksonville, FL — A strong cold front is now south of our area and much cooler and drier air is spreading over NE Florida. Temperatures today will be 20-30 degrees cooler than yesterday’s record breaking temperatures in the lower 90’s. Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy.

A few showers closer to the coast are possible on Saturday with breezy onshore winds. Highs today through the weekend won’t get out of the 60’s for Jacksonville. Sunday will be mainly dry and fall-like. The 70’s return on Monday.
