Jacksonville, FL — The Clay County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of a suspect they say is responsible for at least 13 burglaries to homes in Orange Park.
According to deputies, 49-year-old Robert McGhee was initially arrested on suspicions of two break-ins, but once in custody they say he confessed to more.
Arrest reports obtained by WOKV say that windows were broken at some of the targeted homes, while others had doors left unlocked.
Deputies say in response to the more than a dozen burglaries, they have stepped up patrols in the area.
