Jacksonville, FL — As the search continues for a missing woman, the Nassau County Sheriff's Office confirms to WOKV they do have a person of interest in custody.

We’ve learned Jason Gee has been arrested for an outstanding parole violation warrant.

While the arrest, itself, is unrelated to the disappearance of Joleen Cummings, 34, deputies tell us Gee is considered a person of interest at this point, because he was involved in an argument with Cummings just last week.

WOKV told you on Monday, the case report from the sheriff's office says they responded to a domestic disturbance at Cummings' home involving Gee. The report says he had asked to stay with her, but when she refused he became 'irate.' He fled before deputies arrived.

The sheriff's office also tells us there's no evidence of foul play at this time.

If you have any information about Cummings' whereabouts, you're urged to contact Detective Herrington at (904) 548-4003.

Deputies had previously said Cummings may be traveling in a 2006 beige Ford Explorer, with the Florida license plate 035KBQ, but on Tuesday afternoon her vehicle was found in the parking lot of Home Depot in Yulee. Deputies say there was no sign of Cummings.
