Dinosaurs are back at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens

Jacksovnille, Fl. — ou and your family are invited to pack your bags and take a trip to Dinosauria. Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens says they have brought back the guest-favorite exhibit.

21 life-size, animatronic dinosaurs will be on display through July 7th. You will be able to embark on a self-guided, paleontological journey through time to the super continent of Pangaea.

"We are excited to bring dinosaurs back to the Zoo," says Executive Director Tony Vecchio. "Dinosauria is sure to be fun for the entire family."

The Zoo says there is more to the exhibit than just a fun time, it’s also educational. Kids are encouraged to get hands-on in the fossil dig pit. There will also be signs throughout the exhibit about shifting continents as land masses moved and climates change along with the region of the world the dinosaurs were found in.

For access to the Dinosauria exhibit, it will be an additional $4 for the general public and $3 for Zoo members. The exhibit is included in the Total Experience Tickets.

Dinosaurs will also be the theme of the Spring Camp at the Zoo planned for March 19th – 23rd. It will feature a unique opportunity to learn more about dinosaurs and their modern relatives.
