JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A semitruck traveling on the southbound SR-9B exit ramp to Interstate 95 ran off the road and crashed on Thursday around 9:43 this morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that after driving off the road, the tractor-trailer collided with the guard rail and then crashed into a light pole and sign.
As a result of the impact, the semi overturned onto its side, spilling wire mesh it was transporting all over the grass shoulder.
A report said that the 36-year-old driver sustained injuries from the crash and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
