Jacksonville, FL — A woman has life-threatening injuries. She was one of five people shot in separate events over a four hour period Thursday night.
Jacksonville Police say three women were shot around 7 pm off Kings Road near Edward Waters College. Then about an hour later a man was hit in the back while walking down Harts Road near I-95 on the northside.
Just before 11 pm a man was shot multiple times by someone in a vehicle on Alta Drive near Oceanway.
So far no one has died, and police have announced no arrests in any of the shootings.
Despite being told this road would be shut down for a while, police have just opened it back up and confined the crime scene to the sidewalk in front of River City Inn and Valero gas station @ActionNewsJax https://t.co/PLNolGLcOQ
