Florida’s minimum wage is set to increase by $1 to $15 per hour on Wednesday.
For tipped employees, the state minimum wage will increase to $11.98 per hour.

This marks the final scheduled increase approved by Florida voters through a constitutional amendment in 2020.
The amendment called for the state’s minimum wage to increase by $1 each year until reaching $15 an hour in 2026.

The Florida Department of Commerce said that starting in 2027, “the minimum wage will be adjusted annually for inflation.”
