Benjamin Adcock - Missing Child Spectrum Alert

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — A spectrum alert was issued Sunday morning after 16-year-old Benjamin Adcock was reported missing out of St. Augustine.

12 PM UPDATE: The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said has confirmed a sighting of Adcock crossing SR 207 southbound at noon Saturday.

Deputies are focusing search efforts near the Epic Theater plaza.


10 AM UPDATE: The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said Benjamin is believed to be wearing the same gray shirt and black shorts as seen in the photos below.

Officials said he may be wearing glasses.

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said they are searching for Benjamin after he reportedly walked away from his home on the 200 block of Whispering Woods Lane.

Authorities consider him endangered given he has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and has autism.

Benjamin was last seen wearing a dark gray t-shirt with “Dimari” on it, black shorts and flip-flops. He is described as 5′11″ and approximately 140 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
