JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — As part of the MLK Jr. Parkway/I-95 interchange improvements, overnight highway ramp closures are scheduled through Friday.
The closure are for demolition of a pedestrian bridge that will be rebuilt in the coming months. Not all ramp closures connecting MLK Parkway and I-95 will occur simultaneously.
Drivers should follow posted detours associated with the following closures:
- The I-95 North ramp to Eastbound MLK (Exit 354A) will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday. Detour north on I-95 to Golfair Boulevard and travel south to Main Street to access eastbound MLK Parkway.
- The I-95 South ramp to Westbound MLK (Exit 354B) will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday. Detour by taking Exit 354A to eastbound MLK Parkway and use the Boulevard Street ramp to access westbound MLK Parkway.
- The ramp from westbound MLK Parkway to I-95 North will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday. Detour by going west on MLK Parkway to I-95 South, then take the 8th Street West exit to I-95 North.
- The ramp from I-95 North to westbound MLK Parkway (Exit 354B) will be close nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday. Detour by continuing north on I-95 to Golfair Boulevard and traveling north to I-95 south to westbound MLK Parkway.
- The ramp from Boulevard Street to westbound MLK Parkway will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. to Friday. Detour by continuing north on Boulevard Street to Golfair Boulevard, taking the ramp to I-95 South, then taking the exit to westbound MLK Parkway.
- The ramp from I-95 North to eastbound MLK Parkway will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. until Friday. Detour by continuing southbound on I-95, then taking the 8th Street West exit to I-95 northbound.
