Jacksonville, FL — A local businesswoman is offering a $1,000.00 reward for the return of a stolen trailer that contains thousands of dollars worth of furniture. Robin Culberhouse, owner of Robin’s Furniture, says the trailer was taken from a small parking lot at the corner of Woolman Avenue and Hamilton Street on Tuesday.
Culberhouse says this is not the first time her store has been the target of thieves. She says about ten years ago, another trailer full of furniture was taken. She says the furniture and trailer are crucial to her business and livelihood.
“My husband and myself, neither one of us have another job, so this is it. It kind of put us on a little bit of a standstill right now until we can get our stuff together again,” says Culberhouse.
She says neighbors are sick of crime in that area. A JSO crime map shows at least 47 records of burglaries and thefts in Murray Hill in just the last three months.
The trailer is white, about 24 feet long with the tag G-V-S-D-0-5 and says “Wells Cargo” on the side.
