JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A piece of equipment exploded Monday morning at the Maxwell House plant downtown, the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said.

JFRD got the call around 11 a.m. and said crews were in and out within a matter of minutes.
No one was injured in the incident, JFRD said.
KraftHeinz, the parent company of Maxwell House, issued the following statement:
“We can confirm that all employees are safe and there was no explosion or fire at the plant. The loud noise reported to authorities was caused by a piece of equipment, and we’re investigating the cause of that noise now. There is no danger to employees or the community.”
