JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — 12:50 PM UPDATE: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced the scene has been cleared after a person was barricaded on the Westside.
A spokesperson with the sheriff’s office told Action News Jax that no arrests have been made.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it is responding to “a potentially armed and barricaded subject” on the Westside.
It’s happening near 110th Street and Wesconnett Boulevard, JSO said.

JSO said officers are working to speak with the subject to get him out of the home.
Traffic and pedestrians are being routed away from the home.
JSO said it will share updates about the situation as they become available.
