We're told this is expected to be the final implosion at the power park. JEA says the eventual retirement of the power park is expected to benefit customers and will help reduce JEA's total carbon footprint by 30%. Currently the power park is scheduled to be completely decommissioned by the end of June 2020 and once the power park is completely decommissioned the land will go through a remediation and redevelopment phase.
