St. Johns County deputies searching for group of suspects accused of 'car-hopping'

Jacksonville, FL — It's another reminder to keep your car doors locked.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is searching for a group of suspects they say went car-hopping through the Willow Cove and Greenleaf subdivisions.

They believe the same group is responsible for stealing multiple vehicles from that same area as well.

One of the suspects was caught on surveillance video, as recently as 2:30 am Monday morning, though deputies believe they were alone.
