Jacksonville, FL — St. Johns County Schools Superintendent Tim Forson says the world of virtual learning has come quickly, and overall has been successful in the county.
Forson says a decision on whether classrooms will reopen is likely days away.
“I anticipate in the next few days some direction being given either from the governor’s office of from our education commissioner’s office that will help guide us on what that is”, Forson told Jacksonville’s Morning News.
“We’ll be slow and cautious about making that decision if in fact we return within this school year”, Forson said.
Currently, the district is set to return to class on May 4th, and there would be less than four weeks of school left this year.
