JSO: Convicted felon arrested for having 5 different kinds of drugs

Jacksonville police called to house for domestic dispute end up making major drug bust

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Charles Lang was arrested during the last week of January after a “major drug bust,” according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

According to a social media post, officers responded to a domestic dispute at a home on Thomas Street. When they arrived, they saw “a large quantity of drugs in plain view.”

Narcotics detectives were called and found the following:

  • 17.7 grams of fentanyl
  • 1,661.8 grams (1.5+ kilos) of cocaine
  • 71.5 grams of ecstasy
  • 18.5 grams of oxycodone pills
  • 435.6 grams of marijuana
  • 6 firearms (including one stolen gun)
  • 2 fully automatic switches
  • $2,759 in cash

According to JSO, Lang is a convicted felon.

He was arrested and charged with nine felonies, including trafficking fentanyl, cocaine, and ecstasy.
