Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after getting a call from a man that claimed he had been kidnapped from Tampa and then held against his will at a business on the Northwest side.

JSO says based on that call they carried out a search warrant at the business-- the ICE Lounge bar and grill on Soutel Drive--- in hopes of obtaining evidence. At this time, police say they don't have a description of any suspect or any suspects in custody.

Police say the man does have injuries, but wouldn't detail what they included, only saying they were not life-threatening. Police have confirmed that he was handcuffed when they found him.

We're told the investigation is still in its very early stages and that they're continuing to interview the victim, who is described as being in his 30's.

JSO says they’ve confirmed the reported kidnapping with the Tampa Police Department.
