Jacksonville, FL — UPDATE: Shortly after 3PM, JSO confirmed Clark and her children have been found safe in an abandoned building, where they had been staying since last night.

A Florida Missing Child Alert has now been issued for five children, who may be with their mother, 29-year-old Kimber Clark.
Clark is described as a white female, who’s 5’5”, 150 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen in a 2007 Black Toyota Tacoma pick-up with a Florida tag, however JSO says they’re not looking for any specific vehicle.
The children are Lashaun Felder, Dwayne Felder, King Brody, Ariana Felder, and Kyliah Holloway.
King Brody is a 2-year-old white male who’s about 2’, 25 lbs, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. Kyliah Holloway is a 7-year-old white female who’s 3’, 40 lbs, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. Dwayne Felder is an 8-year-old biracial male who’s 4’, 60 lbs, and has black hair and brown eyes. Lashaun Felder is a 9-year-old white female, who’s 3’, 40 lbs, and has brown hair and brown eyes. The missing persons report we’ve obtained says Clark contacted someone last night and then met him off Merrill Road. The witness told police he had not been in touch with Clark for several months, but she texted saying she wanted to talk. She was “depressed and suicidal” and said she had recently become homeless and was unsure how she was going to take care of the children, according to the police report. The witness told police Clark opened a beer and started drinking it, but he made her dump it out. The witness could see at least one of Clark’s children- the oldest, Ariana- in the car, but was unsure if the others were there as well.
Clark made comments including that her children would be “better off” without her, and “I am just going to kill myself”. The witness says she drove off when he called police, and he was able to follow her for awhile, but lost sight around Dalehurst Drive.
JSO has searched some of the areas Clark has been known to frequent, including the Kings Inn, but says the family has not been located and they could be anywhere. Police are trying to make sure the family is safe.
Court records show missing Jax woman, five kids moved around a lot- five places over five years 2010-2015, and at least two evictions since then https://t.co/WPNCnoF1zZ pic.twitter.com/hc6PWCJGB9

Court records relating to a domestic violence case Clark had previously filed against the father of one of her children show that she and the kids lived in five different places between November 2010 and June 2015. While Clark was granted a temporary protective order in that case, it was ultimately dismissed.
There is a separate case that was filed against Clark by a friend who had taken her in- with her children and boyfriend- when they became homeless. That friend claimed Clark’s boyfriend physically harmed her. The petition for a protective order in that case was denied.
The missing persons report indicates Clark was evicted ahead of her disappearance.
After the witness told Clark to get help, she allegedly told him the Florida Department of Children and Families wouldn’t help her. DCF tells us they cannot comment about a specific case because of Florida’s confidentiality laws, but that they work to aid children and parents in whatever ways possible.
“DCF’s Child Protective Investigators are thorough, caring, and compassionate. They are knowledgeable about local resources that can help families, and they encourage families to seek that help,” says a statement from DCF.
JSO is asking you to come forward if you’ve seen Clark or these children recently. You can contact JSO at 904-630-0500 or JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org. You can also submit an anonymous tip and be eligible for a possible reward by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
This is a developing story that will be updated through the day.
